Nifty Team: Meet Mickey!

Everyone, meet Hannah, AKA Mickey! 

One of our team members who has been part of the crew since March. From the moment she joined, Mickey has brought so much joy to the team (she's often seen around the corner at Embassy buying cookies in bulk for whoever's working that day), plus she has an incredible eye for detail. She’s the one who’ll spot the tiniest stitching on a vintage piece, or point out something on the rack you *almost* missed. 

We couldn’t wait to introduce her properly. So we asked a few questions to get to the bottom of Mickey's brain:

Her fuel of choice: a flat white (or iced latte if it's sunny) plus a matcha cookie from Embassy

Current soundtrack: Malcolm Todd on repeat

When asked about her favourite thrifted pieces in her wardrobe, Mickey narrowed it down to a vintage patchwork button-up vest found in London (half price, no less).. *Rosie remembers Mickey wearing the vest in her interview, and it is as cool as it sounds*

..and a 2003 vintage Gap blouse she spotted at Nifty “literally straight off my Pinterest board".

Mickey's dream thrifting destination? Back to London, obviously.

When asked what she's manifesting comes into the store, she said "anything Vivienne Westwood" (her number one idol), plus she's always on a never-ending search for the perfect classic Gap hoodie.

And speaking of idols, Mickey would happily steal Kat Stratford’s entire wardrobe from 10 Things I Hate About You ("every outfit in that film eatsssss”) or raid Helena Bonham Carter’s closet 'cause she embodies that Westwood vibe.

When asked about the best part of working in a consignment store, Mickey sums it up: “everything, but mostly the people”.
