Nifty is hiring!

We’re looking for a Part-Time Retail Assistant at Nifty in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. Please note that this is a permanent position.

We’re on the lookout for someone special to join our small team! We’re hiring a retail assistant to work:

Three weekday shifts per week (Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am–5.45pm and Saturdays from 9.30am–5.15pm).

Flexibility to pick up additional weekday and weekend shifts is essential, as this role will help provide cover for our small team during leave and sick days. Additional shifts and hours will be available from time to time.

Because there's a lot to learn here, we're ideally looking for someone interested in a long-term role who is excited to grow with us.

The role includes:

• Delivering great customer service in-store

• Assisting with the consignment process

• Merchandising & styling stock on the shop floor

• Helping create a welcoming and inspiring store experience

• Comfortable appearing in social media content
  
  

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous retail experience

• A genuine love for pre-loved & vintage clothing

• Pre-existing knowledge of fashion, brands and fashion trends

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute to a friendly small business environment

• Confident working independently

• Flexibility to pick up additional shifts when needed is highly valued. Particularly on weekend (helping out at markets during spring/summer/autumn especially)
