This is an part-time position for Saturdays, and one weekday shift (day of the week to be determined based on availability).

Job Description:


We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you'll be right at the heart of delivering amazing customer service and playing a key role in making our store a success.


We love pre-loved clothing, and the community that comes with it.

The role is part-time, primarily for a Saturday shift, with potential for additional weekday shifts, events, and summer holiday shifts. Having availability on both weekend days is preferable to assist with shift coverage when required.


Retail experience, along with a level of trend and brand knowledge is preferred.


 


Responsibilities:




  1. Customer Service

    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.

    • Provide product information, and assistance with garment selection.

    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.

    • Consignment duties (sorting through clothing, signing up new consignors, helping consignors with their account queries)




  2. Sales and Transactions

    • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

    • Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout to enhance the shopping experience.




  3. Inventory Management

    • Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming clothing and accessories.

    • Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to ensure availability and variety.

    • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory maintenance.




  4. Store Operations

    • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including restocking racks and organizing displays.

    • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing the store.
